Robert Goodman Band

The Robert Goodman Band, an American
singer-songwriter experience at its finest.

Hybrid Sound:

The Robert Goodman Band has rekindled a
spirit that made music timeless -building upon
today’s current events and the history of our
world for inspiration. Over the past ten
years, Florida native, Robert Goodman, a noted songwriter,
pianist/keyboardist and vocalist, joined with bassists Rick
Shepherd, percussionist Tim Moss,
guitarist-vocalist Dave Rubinstein, to form this
unique Band.

Igniting a passionate flame of
creativity in their Forward Motion Records, debut album release, “Everything Is Beautiful,” the band along with producer, Cliff Rawnsley Jr., have revived expressions of world peace, ending poverty,
promoting freedom, inner growth and love. This is the intention behind
the themes found in this remarkable original
sound. The incomparable group chemistry
found within this brotherhood of musicians is
notable in the rich musical style they produce.

Although he’s been writing and performing his
original music for over 30 years, Goodman’s
latest venture has brought together such
diverse and creative influences that it has
become a truly unique listening experience.
All at once, beautiful, articulate and edgy, the
band energizes the lyrics of each song with a
unique blend of music genres, resulting in a
series of songs that have to be considered
“current classics.” Their debut CD
“Everything Is Beautiful” captures the spiritual
hybrid of American and British music in all of its subtle forms -
it’s clear rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic
tapestry created comes through sharply.
The Band’s adventurous sound comes straight
from their collective soul. It is the culmination of
a lifetime of divergent musical journeys rolled
into a vibrant and powerful search for beauty.
