Vic has had songs placed in Toyota Commercials, a feature film titled The Lavender Tapes, and hit TV show The Parenthood.
Vic Kingsley’s new release is titled “Turn on the Dark” and it is comprised of five tracks full of lush harmonies, cutting-edge sounds, unique rhythmic patterns and surreal lyrics. Thematically, Turn on the Dark EP elaborates on Miami as a multi-dimensional lover. One aspect that connects the songs together, is Miami’s current re-generating of the “arts.” Just like any relationship that has no title, at times the songs describe desperation with an undertone of optimism, but ultimately, the vocals are helpless romantic.
